Tag Care
My pet ID tags are tiny pieces of artwork but with the right care, they can last a long time! Although resin is durable, it is not advised to be submerged in water. Long exposure to water or sunlight will have an impact on all resin products - they can become cloudy or yellow in appearance.
Care should be taken when these pieces are used as pet ID tags, they are not as durable as a metal tag. If your dog enjoys rough play, bouncing through bushes etc. please note, you might need a more hardwearing tag for your dog.
Below, is the best way to care for your tiny artwork whilst getting optimum use from it:
Wipe clean with a damp cloth and avoid any harsh chemicals.
Avoid seawater when possible as this can damage your tag.
Don't expose to sunlight for long periods of time, as this can damage the resin and in time, fade the artwork within.
Check for any signs of wear when using any pet accessory, no item is indestructible. If you notice any damage, such as chips or cracks to the resin, or any damaged hardware, do not use this item.
Our tags are 100% not chew-proof. It's the owner's responsibility to monitor their pet with any item.
Make sure you're pet is wearing the correct size tag for them, along with the correct hardware/attachments, some can hang too low for smaller animals.
